If there ever was a reason to support same sex marriage…

If there ever were a reason to support gay marriage, this is it. The world’s oldest continuously operational terrorists organization, the Ku Klux Klan is planning an anti-gay marriage rally in Austin, Texas this Saturday. The rally will take place on the steps of city hall. The KKK wants to rally support for a proposition on the November ballot in Texas that would outlaw, the already outlawed practice of gay marriage. One has to wonder if they are on the right side of an issue , when one of the most notorious terrorist organizations, responsible for the deaths of thousands, comes out in support of your cause. We are all for free speech, but how can this country’s government justify arresting US citizens who are members of Al Qaeda, while leaving Klan membership unmolested.
Not all opponents of gay marriage welcome the support of the Klan and their murderous followers and admirers. Ryan Rush, Pastor of the Bannockburn Baptist Church and a chief supporter of the gay marriage amendment, has gone out of his way to distance himself and the movement from the Klan, noting they aren’t welcome in Austin. Nor should they be, the good people of Texas should come out in force to let these sheet wearing murderers and terrorists know that just as we stand against Al Qaeda and the forces of Islamic fascism, so too must we stand against domestic fascists as well.
