Are Islamic Radicals behind the riots?

For two weeks now France has been gripped by rioting. We have chronicled the failures of the French government in creating conditions ripe for such troubles, but we must not discount the madness and savagery of the rioters themselves. These thugs have shown no mercy as they have targeted schools, churches, businesses, cars, etc. While largely ignored by the press and most political figures, the fact remains that these rioters have one thing in common. It is the same common denominator that unites the insurgents of Iraq, the 9/11 hijackers or the Taliban, that being Islam.
The vast majority of these French rioters hail from North Africa and the Middle East, the French government argues that much of their plight can be attributed to the fact that these 1st and 2nd generation immigrants fail to integrate into French society. What the French fail to realize is that integration is not a part of their agenda, if anything their goal is disintegration of French society, such as it is. We have recounted similar stories in Britain, Germany and the Netherlands, where a growing Islamic population is creating a new order in Europe and with it new sources of conflict. While many of these immigrants may very well be peaceful, a sizeable proportion of them have grander goals in mind, not unlike those of the Moors. They seek a position of dominance.
While the French government certainly have created conditions that lend credence to the arguments of the Islamic radicals, perhaps there is little the French government could do that would actually placate these rioters, especially if their goal is live out the familiar credo: submit, convert or die. French governmental policy has long emphasized the integration of immigrants into French society, clearly such policies are failures, but then again no policy can be successful when those who are the targets have a very different agenda. Perhaps Europe will wake up to the ever growing threat in their midst before its too late.
