Islam on the march down under: Australians thwart terror attack

We have regaled you with stories of Islamic extremism in every corner of the globe. They have struck on the high seas, as piracy, previously limited to commercial shipping in SE Asia, has now struck the passenger cruising industry. They have struck in Latin America, they have struck in Kenya, Tanzania, Sudan, Nigeria, Iraq, Thailand, China, Russia, Spain, Britain, the Netherlands, America, the Philippines, Indonesia and countless other places around the globe. Their reach is global and their objectives are deadly. One place they have longed to strike is Australia. They have come close before, striking Australian tourists with devastating affect on two separate occasions in Bali, Indonesia.
Australian Prime Minister John Howard had warned that Australia was not immune from the global threat of Islamic radicalism and their pandemic of fear, and now we see how true that statement must have been. Australian police have rounded up 17 terror suspects in Sydney and Melbourne. According to authorities, these radical Muslims were planning a major terror strike in at least two major Australian cities. The suspects were found to have stock piled weapons and bombing making chemicals. As we have stated previously the threat from radical Islam is real and it is global.
To the left, including the media, they will try to tie this thwarted attack to the war in Iraq, but as Prime Minister Howard has pointed out on several occasions, western targets have been struck by these Islamist long before Iraq and indeed, several countries this very day are being targeted by Islamic radicals though they have had no involvement in Iraq or the wider war on terror, most notably France, who did everything in its power to stop the Iraq war, yet they are now the victims of Islam’s incessant march to global dominance.
