What’s the best way to deflect criticism? Accuse your opponents of the same offense that you have been charged with. In Maryland state politics, if you are an Uncle Tom, accuse your opponents of being a Tom. Black Democrats (a synonym for house servant) have come out against Republican Lt. Governor, Michael Steele with a vengeance. They have thrown Oreos at him, they have called him an Uncle Tom, and they have portrayed him as a Sambo and have done so unapologetically. We have already recounted the racial hypocrisy of the Democratic Party and this showdown in Maryland is yet another example. Steele’s Democratic opponents say the criticism is justified because Steele is a Republican and Republicans do not represent the interest of the Black community, and Democrats do? Black Democratic politicians in Maryland are the epitome of hypocrites and in their race bating attacks they demonstrate that racist attacks can be condoned if they are not directed toward them. Indeed, these Democrats are the true Uncle Toms. They have done nothing to advance the interest of their communities. That is unless you consider creating a subject class of citizens who are dependent on the state, and demanding hand outs that diminish one’s work ethic, working in the best interest of anyone. These Black democrats walk in lock step with the elitists, paternalistic power structure of the Democratic Party a party whose policies have done nothing to lift even a single person out of poverty. If anything, such policies make the grip of poverty even worse. What really interests these politicians is political power and though the Democratic elites only give these Black politicians scraps off the table, the Toms are willing to fight for those scraps, no matter how many people they must tear down in the process. If subservience is in the interest of Blacks then the Democrats are the party to choose. If dependence and limited ability to make decisions for yourself is desirous, then the Democrats are the way to go.
