Unemployment down again…

Sadly, most Americans lack even a basic understanding of economics. Few understand the nuances of supply and demand nor do they have the analytical ability to explain basic economic theory. This realization is exploited by the left, who use the overwhelming ignorance of many Americans, to disparage the economy and reality when it suits their political interests. The left has consistently portrayed the economy in a negative light, though such portrayals contrast sharply with reality.
In the United States today, the economy continues to expand, inflation remains in check, businesses are continuing to expand and unemployment remains low. New reports from the Labor department further demonstrate the strength of the US economy as unemployment fell to 4.7% in March.
The president noted that such figures strengthen his case for making earlier tax cuts permanent, which is entirely correct, sadly the President has allowed the left to accurately portray these tax cuts as a windfall for the “rich.” In reality it is an appropriate measure for those actually earning a meaningful wage. The poor, who pay little if any taxes in the first place, have been brainwashed into believing they somehow shoulder the burden of the US economy. While in reality it is their ineptitude and poor work ethic, which has consistently dampened economic progress.
Leftist economic policy has consistently proven its basic failures as a meaningful strategy for growing the economy. This is evident by such leftist stalwarts as France and Germany where economic stagnation and high unemployment have become a fact of everyday life. An economy cannot prosper when encumbered by needless government interference, high taxation and unreasonable restrictions on employment. Sadly, the president has already lost the battle for the hearts and minds of most Americans, who now fully embrace leftist propaganda. Anything Bush says to the contrary is very quickly dismissed out of hand.
