The immigration debate has stirred feelings on both sides. Leftists, actively recruiting any warm body to support their state centered agenda, has readily opposed any serious efforts to combat illegal immigration, while conservatives anxious to find a subject to mobilize their base has jumped on the immigration bandwagon after failures in social security and tax reform. Some groups, however, have more sinister designs. According to the FBI, hate crimes are up and organizations like the Southern Poverty Law Center postulate that a rise in such crimes could be attributed to increasing anti-immigrant sentiment. According to the Alabama organization, there 803 such hate groups in the USA last year, up from 762 in 2004.

"More and more groups are turning to immigration to help recruitment." - Mark Potok, Southern Poverty Law Center

The center contends that a growing number of anti-immigrant groups have joined forces with neo-Nazi organizations to intimidate illegal immigrants.
While immigration opponents have distinctly legitimate concerns, those who seek support from Nazi organizations relinquish any legitimacy their arguments may have had. As organizations go, these Nazi organizations have far more in common with the likes of Al Qaeda than any patriot movement. Their propensity for violence and mayhem clearly demonstrate that connection beyond question.

Like the Islamic Radicals, these individuals have chosen a convenient scapegoat to blame for their personal failures. Who’s to blame for the fact that Johnny Skinhead doesn’t have a job or high school diploma, why it must be José the illegal from Mexico. Who’s to blame for Johnny Skinhead’s lengthy criminal record, drug abuse and lack of a future, why it must be Miguel the illegal from Guatemala. These anti-immigrant Nazis represent all that is wrong in America, incapable of accepting responsibility for their sloth, complacency and failure they assign blame to others and in so doing they are no different than the radical left or radical Islam, neither of whom are familiar with the concept of personal responsibility.

While certain organizations, like the Minute Men have legitimate concerns and act on those concerns in a lawful and proper manner, others associate themselves with so-called patriotic Nazis who are in reality, anything but. No self respecting American would claim to be that which, if successful 60 years ago, would have most certainly enslaved each and every American. No true American would ever embrace the philosophy of Adolf Hitler; those who do are traitors and should be so aptly labeled traitors. The are traitors to our founding ideals, traitors to their fellow Americans, traitors to our Constitution, traitors to representative government and traitors to the rule of law…
