(Frequently Asked Questions) How
often do you update this site? We will try to update this site on a daily basis, though
this may change in the future. Generally by 10am in the morning with less
frequent update on the weekends. Where
are you located? Atlanta, GA USA How
many people write for the Phalanx? It varies… What
is your political affiliation? We are neither a Democrat nor a Republican, though we have
voted for both in many elections, we lean more in the direction of
libertarian, with some exceptions, which will become obvious in reading our
comments in “The Latest…” We think it is ridiculous to be tied to one
political party, particularly since they are so flawed. What
subjects do you focus on? Well our interests include: history, government, science,
business and technology. We are open
to discussing most any subject, provided we have time to research the topic
(if we’re not already familiar with it). We don’t call people names, well
most of the time, at least not vulgar ones. We won’t print foul language
(either material we have written or comments that have been sent to me). What
is your biggest pet peeve? You mean other than the phrase “pet peeve?” Seriously
where does this ridiculous expression come from? In any case we have a strong
resentment toward laziness and sloth. We can’t understand how people can fill
so much of their lives doing absolutely nothing. People with no work ethic
are the greatest threat to this country, perhaps greater than the Nazis or
Communism. |
